Hinchingbrooke Country Park is a dogs’ paradise, and on Sunday 18 September the park will highlight the facilities and opportunities available to dog owners. Activities will run throughout the day from 11am to 4pm, and the café will be open for refreshments.
Activities will include Leonbergers’ training in the art of water rescue, a have-a-go session of agility and exercise, and staff from Wood Green Animal Shelter... offering free doggy weight checks as well as encouraging owners to have their dog chipped for the reduced fee of £5. The animal welfare officer from Huntingdonshire District Council will also be on hand to offer advice and information.
During the afternoon, Big Walkies will meet at 2.30pm giving dog owners the opportunity to walk together, socialise and to get fit at the same time. Everyone is invited to participate.
Please note: our walk is 2.30pm but the Doggy Day itself (run by Hinchingbrooke Park) is 11am - 4pm

Information: Please meet outside of the cafe. As Big Walkies is a community group and not funded, they welcome a donation at the end of their events (suggested £1 per dog). However, this is a donation and you are not expected to pay this.
Attend one of our monthly events and receive a Kennel Club goody bag (while stocks last!).
