Their charity is: Dog for the disabled.
I met a lovely guy called Andy Lee (click here for his website). Andy had a cycling accident which resulted in a and Spinal Cord Injury in 1994. It radically changed his life. Breaking his neck took a second to do but resulted in a disability (spinal cord injury) that will last a lifetime.
Andy has a gorgeous dog called Henry. Henry was provided by Dogs for the disabled. Henry can open and close doors, collects post and put rubbish in the kitchen bin. He will fetch just about anything on command and knows several objects by name, this includes 'fetch the phone' in case of any emergency. He can pick up Andy's crutches and grabbing stick too if he drops them. He is extremely intelligent and learns new tasks very quickly.
To show his appreciation for the charity Andy has organised a sponsored dog walk in Orwell.
Please see the attached pdf poster for details and if you'd like to take part please complete the sponsorship form.
Good luck Andy!
